Telescopic Hydraulic Cylinder

This is a linear multi stage actuator made of a series of tubular rods or sleeves. The pressure of fluid is increased by decreasing the diameter of sleeves even though the same force is maintained. There are two types of telescopic hydraulic cylinders available- single acting hydraulic cylinder and double acting telescopic hydraulic cylinder. Single acting telescopic cylinders are the most common cylinder that work through gravitational force or spring for retraction. For large and fixed installations, double telescopic hydraulic cylinders are used. Telescopic hydraulic cylinders are used in jobs where longer stroke is required with shorter retraction length.
